This research group aims to investigate techniques, models and methodologies for the construction of computational systems that are characterized by aspects of distribution, automation, simulation, visualization and security. Topics of interest in this line of research include: High Performance Computing, Computer Graphics, Image Processing and Interaction, Computational Intelligence, Human-Computer Interaction, Parallel and Distributed Processing, Computer Networks, Robotics and Automation, Information Security (Cyber ​​Defense), Telecommunications and Visualization Systems.

It has as objective the development of concepts, models, techniques and processes for the development of technologies and information systems. Topics of interest in this line of research include: Database, Bioinformatics, Distance Education, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data and Text Mining and Conceptual Modeling.
