Subdivision of Graduation Studies (SD/1)

SCOPE

- promote, coordinate and execute enrollment and admission in graduate programs;
- plan, coordinate and control activities related to advanced education programs;
- keep track of Academic progression of Brazilian Army’s Officers while enrolled in Graduated programs offered  by other Academic Institutions;
- check up teaching-learning process over the graduate program course;- draw up and keep updated documentation pertaining advanced education;
- chair the Postgraduate Council;
- manage government research grants to support activities related to graduate programs;
- provide Official transcripts and other academic documentation pertaining Graduate Students and Faculty records;
- provide the issuance and registration of diplomas and certificates of the graduates of postgraduate courses.

The academic / administrative activities foreseen in the Education and Research General Plan (PGEP) for postgraduate studies are carried out by SD/1 with the support of the postgraduate coordinators of each Engineering department.
