Digital Imaging Laboratory (LID)

Activities:It is intended for research related to the treatment of digital images of remote sensing and photogrammetry, as well as to support undergraduate and postgraduate subjects;
Key Resources Available:- 01 handheld spectroradiometer;- 01 handheld 3D scanner for generation of digital models;- 01 scanning hyperspectral chamber with 1600 vertical points and 848 channels.- 10 photogrammetric stations;- 4 servers;- 10 LPS licenses;- 5 ENVI licenses with IDL;- 1 eCognition license;- free software e-Foto, Spring, RAT etc .;- Laser color printer;- wireless internet access- Area: 50 m2

Geographic Information Systems Laboratory

Director: Cap Ivanildo
Activities:It is intended for teaching and research in the areas of Geographic Database, Geographic Information Systems and Spatial Analysis (map algebra, spatial statistics, network analysis and fuzzy geospatial data analysis); it assists the development of applications of Geographic Information Systems; and it supports practical classrooms of GIS and Geographic Database disciplines in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Cartography Laboratory

Positioning Lab

Activities:It is intended for research on development and deployment of geodesic and topographic networks, involving field surveys, processing, and adjustment of observations.
